Full redesign and renovation of a South of France villa.
We were appointed as lead interior architects to redesign, implement and project manage an extensive refurbishment to a villa overlooking the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer in the South of France.
Extensive demolition works were required to realise this challenging transformation. By merging British and French construction methods, we were able to overcome the challenges of building in the Mediterranean climate without compromise to the end result. We approached the interiors with simple yet elegant designs to find a balance between the panoramic views and the interior spaces. We took inspiration from the surrounding views; nature and seascapes. Intricate detailing, luxury materials and custom joinery add important finishing touches.
We designed a four-sided infinity mirror pool located on the terrace. This is one of the many property highlights and provides a relaxing place to swim as well as admire from the living areas of the villa.
The property features a number of sculptures by renowned British sculptor Philip Jackson and showcases a colourful, original art collection curated by Studio28 as part of the turnkey service we provided for our client.
