We were appointed to fully redesign, manage
and implement a one bedroom apartment
set within a beautiful Edwardian building.
Our brief was to transform a dark, compact one bedroom apartment into a light, luxurious space with creative storage solutions and a ‘chic hotel’ feel. The highlight of this apartment was the floor to ceiling height, so we enhanced the space by designing full height features to compliment the proportions and provide storage. Bespoke joinery allowed us to design something beautiful yet practical. Curtains and blinds are electronically controlled and the floor to ceiling curtains form a ‘curtain wall’ in the bedroom giving a luxury hotel feel.
A secret door adds a touch of playfulness leading into the stone clad bathroom. Although compact, this apartment remains one of our most challenging spaces to design and we're proud to share this project has been awarded ‘Best Residential Apartment in Hertfordshire’ International Property Awards 2023-2024.
