Safari chic nursery
Design and installation of a beautiful safari nursery scheme.
With busy days and sleepless nights ahead, our brief was to create a calming nursery scheme with a sophisticated colour palette for a soon to arrive baby boy.
We created a scheme with the perfect balance of sophistication and fun, taking inspiration from safari animals and nature. A space for everyone to enjoy right now but also a space this baby boy can grow into and enjoy as he discovers the wonderful world of animals.
We used a horizontal split paint scheme for the walls giving the nursery a modern twist. A light neutral colour provides the perfect backdrop for animal themed artwork, toy displays and bookshelves. A soft blue-green tone to the bottom half contrasts light furniture.
Woven rattan fixtures, natural oak shelving and light wood furniture gives a Scandi inspired, natural feel. Eye catching fabrics with animal inspired textures finish the room beautifully with playful hints such as pom-pom lined blinds.
We provided a full turnkey finish, dressing the space with playful accessories including safari bed linen and changing mat, animal-themed black and white photography as well as soft cosy blankets to dress the room and be used to snuggle up with baby.
