We were appointed to re-design a lateral apartment within a beautiful Grade II listed property. Formerly an Edwardian school house, this Hertfordshire based building has many wonderful architectural features.
Our brief was to create a luxurious home with the feeling of 'a five star hotel' catering for the everyday/practical requirements of our Client’s busy lifestyle.
We designed new spatial layouts for each room, architectural specifications for flooring, ceilings and bathrooms. We created a completed new decoration scheme including floor and wall finishes along with blind and curtain window treatments. We designed an array of bespoke joinery for this property to house equipment and create plenty of storage. We designed the bathrooms and and kitchen schemes and created a new lighting design. We completed the property with furniture and soft furnishing accessories to create a full turn-key styling service.
The style of this scheme is strong and confident with some bold features to suit our client’s personal taste. The client has an appreciation of tailored fashion wear, so we opted for fabrics and finishes that worked within this concept such as herringbone weaves, leather and suede finishes along with bold fashion prints to add a touch of tailoring to the interior linking it to the world of fashion.
There is a heavy focus on custom made furniture which includes a full-height bookcase, feature TV housing with fireplace and of course the luxury leather clad interior doors.
